Post-Treatment Advice
- A sensation like mild sunburn may be experienced. This can be soothed initially by the application of ice. For longer term relief use Aloe Vera or a soothing cream or gel as often as required.
- The skin in the treated area may be slightly red and puffy for several hours. This is common and will subside. A mild itching may be experienced, this indicates the healing process has begun.
- Avoid direct sun exposure for several days unless you use a sunblock with a minimum SPF-30. Continue to wear a high factor sunscreen throughout the course of the treatment. Laser hair removal and tanning are not compatible.
- Do not tweeze, wax or have electrolysis between laser treatments. You can shave the area if you need to control hair between treatments. Shaving does not stimulate new hair or permanently modify existing hair.
- The treated hair may take a number of weeks to be expelled from the skin. This can look like regrowth, however washing will normally remove the debris.
- Do not bleach or use depilatory creams for 1 week prior to treatment.
